Running VMs
What are the Running VMs?
Running VMs are the active virtual machines running in the system. If no VMs are running, nothing will appear in this section.
Users with admin roles can view all running virtual machines in the system.
Columns displayed:
- VM Runtime, Owner, Associated Team.
- Debug Status, Connection Status, VM Configuration.
- Cores, Memory, VM ID, Host, Server, IP Address, and MAC Address.
The debug column in running VMs displays the Debug icon for VMs with debugging enabled.
What is the Difference Between Restarting the Controller and Restarting from the Power Option in the Running VMs Section?
. Restarting controller from the Running VMs section restarts the controller without rebooting the virtual machine. This option reboots the VM tunnels, which stops all RDP connections.
You need to have a drive share to restart the controller.
Restarting the controller from the Power option and then clicking Restart in the pop-up reboots the entire VM. This process takes longer and carries more risk for the VM.
This option is for admins only. Normal users should never restart VM controllers. Only perform this action when instructed by a system administrator.
